HOW DOES LASER LIPOLYSIS WORK?
Laser lipolysis works by applying low level laser pads to the skin surface. The low-level lasers gently penetrate the skin surface to the adipose layer (fat layer) below the skin. The laser opens the surface of the fat cells and liquifies the adipose tissue inside the cell. The melted adipose tissue then drains from the cells into the interstitial space from where it is flushed out of the body by the lymphatic system. The treatment is non-invasive and requires no down time.
WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS LIKE?
The treatments take about 35-45 minutes and are relaxing. The first part of the treatment consists of lying on a table with the laser pads applied to the desired area of fat loss for about 25 minutes. That is followed up by a few minutes of massage with the fascia wand. You then spend 10 minutes walking on a treadmill, riding a stationary bike or standing on a vibration plate to flush the system.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
Ideally 24 to 30 treatments are best for maximum results. You do treatments two a week spaced out by 48 hours. Laser lipolysis is not a miracle cure for fat loss. It requires adherence to the program as well as smart dietary and exercise choices. It works best for people who are highly motivated and those looking to get that last bit of unwanted fat off. While it is not ideal for making major chances on people with a BMI of over 35, it can be useful as a jump start for those people.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
On your first visit we will go over your goals. We then do a body composition analysis and take measurements of the body area where you want to lose fat. We record the results and recheck throughout the treatment protocol to track your results. We will also go over some dietary and exercise recommendations to maximize your results. Realistic fat loss of one inch per area is achievable in just a few sessions.
